Probability distributions of discrete random variablesThis unit will focus on discrete random variables and their probability distributions. We will make use of the knowledge of organizing data and knowledge of probability to describe how an experiment is expected to behave. With probability distributions, instead of describing what actually did happen, we will describe what what will probably happen. This unit is important since the very core of inferential statistics are based on some knowledge of probability distributions.
